Financial Wellness

Financial wellness is an important part of our overall wellness, particularly our mental health. When our finances are not in order or we do not have a plan moving forward (e.g. a household budget), we become stressed. As most of us know, increased stress leads to poor sleep, hormonal dysregulation, overeating or undereating, hypertension, an increase in cardiovascular disease, and the list goes on.

Below, you will find several well-known financial resources as well as educational videos from MOSERS and Mo Deferred Compensation. David Gibson, with Mo Deferred Compensation, is available for teleconferences at your convenience. Email David to set up a personal consultation, which is free for Northwest employees, at davidg@mosers.org.

Contact MOSERS for questions regarding your pension.  Benefit Counselors are a valuable source for information regarding your benefits and are available to assist you weekdays from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm.  To schedule an appointment to meet with a counselor, please contact 800.827.1063 or 573.632.6100 and one of our counselors will be happy to assist you.
